CHAPTER - 2

IN EVENING...

HARI...🤍

Me, Miru and amma came to aathai's house. We entered in and see Dev working on the lap. This workaholic idiot. I go and sit near him putting my hand on his shoulder. He turn and look at me. He closed the laptop and kept it on the table in front of us.

"When did you came here?" He asked.

"Just now kanna" mom said and came near us.

"Aathai" he said and got and go near my mom. She hugged him.

"Evolo naal achu unna pathu... En kanna elachu poita?" Mom asked him.

[ It's been how many days I have lastly saw you... Why honey you lost some weight?]

"Him?  lost weight?" I asked in disbelief.

"Harish!" I heard a voice. I turn and see my Kannama aathai. I got up and ran towards her.

"I missed you da kanna" she said hugging me.

"I too missed you aathai" I said.

"How can you be such a charmer Hari?" Miru asked. I stuck my tongue out at her.

I heard those anklet sound. I turn and see the stairs. There comes my angel in a light blue t shirt and white shorts in a messy bun. There is a black bindi in between her brows. I look at those perfect legs.  Damn I need to stop this pervert Hari.

"Anni inga vanga" mom called aathai. She drag me with her.

[ Sister - in - law, come here]

[ Anni - big brother's wife]

Teju came and stand near my mother.

"Sit da kanna!" Mom said to her and she sit near Miru in the opposite couch to the couch I am sitting. Kannama aathai is sitting between me and Dev. Amma is sitting near Miru. There was silence in place expect the fan sound.

"Amma! Enna silent ah irukinga evening etho important ah sollanu nu sonninga?" Dev asked breaking the silence.

[ Mom! Why are you so silent? You said you want to tell something important in the evening.]

"That's nothing kanna, Teju and Miru got job in Chennai and they both are 21" mom said.

"So?" I asked.

"So, we thought to get them married" aunt said.

"Amma! What is this? I am just 21 and I can't marry" Miru started. Teju didn't said anything she just hold Miru's hand trying to calm her down.

"Papa first listen to us" aathai said.

[ Papa - endearment]

Miru go quiet and look at amma and aathai.

"Why ma suddenly you guys are planning this? What's being them in Chennai without marriage? They need to spend their youth happily mom" Dev said.

"You can't understand that da kanna! You both need to get to married. You both can't marry while your sisters aren't" mom said.

"Mom we also need time. We don't need marriage right now" I said.

"Everything have an age Hari. The correct age for marriage is 21,22 and 23. Late marriages leads to a lot of problems" aathai said.

"Mom are you still in stone age? There is no age limit for marriage ma. Let them and us leave our lives freely. We need to explore a lot of things in our life don't give us a huge commit in a small age" Dev said.

"I totally agree with him" I said.

"Well Hari and Dev will you marry a 60 year old grandmother because you both are saying that age is not a matter right?" Mom asked.

"And we both also married your fathers at the same ages as your sisters did they made us not live our own life? Do guys thinking that we will make them marry a control freak?" Aathai asked.

"But.." Dev was interrupted by aathai .

"There is no buts it's not only our decision. It's your fathers too" aathai said.

Then we both shut our mouths when we came to know it involved our fathers because we can't even talk with them without stuttering for simple things now it's about a huge stuff we can't even think about it.

"Now you both have no objection right?" Mom asked. We didn't tell anything.

"We take your silence as acceptence and tomorrow a wedding broker is coming with photos of nice grooms who are working in Chennai" aathai said.

"After their marriage we will search brides for you both" mom said.

We didn't say anything to this too. I felt a heavy pain in my heart. How can they just gave away the two diamonds of our family to some random guys and she is mine I can't gave her to anyone. She can't accept to this marriage when it's not with me. I am the one for her. Tears form on my eyes and I controlled them.

DEV...🖤

I felt like someone stabbed my heart when they said they are looking for a groom for them. How can they do this to me? I look at my baby tears are already on her eyes. She is looking at me. She will broke down anytime. No I am not giving my love to anyone. She is mine only mine. I shook my head. I can feel the tears on my eyes too. How can they give my wife to some other guy? I won't allow it. I will never.

"Amma" I called. Mom look at me and aathai looked at me too.

"Amma" Hari called. Aathai looked at him.

"Sollu da kanna" amma said.

"I am in love with a girl" I and Hari said at the same moment. Both of our mothers gasped. Teju looked at me so shocked the only one who was calm is my baby. Actually she is happy but why is she not shocked about Hari wait I am shocked too. I look at Hari he was already looking at me in shock.

"Enna da sollura?" They both asked in terror They never thought that their sweet sons would tell something like that.

[ What are you saying?]

"Yaru da antha ponnu?" Aathai asked.

[ Who is that girl?]

I shyly look down and point my finger in the opposite direction to my surprise Hari did the same.

"Chi...  Vekama illa... Avanga avanga thangachi ya love panringala?" Amma asked.

[ Eww... Aren't you shamed? Are you both in love with your own sisters?]

I look up and see my hand pointing at Teju and Hari's hand pointing at Miru.

"Chi..." We both shouted and I point my finger at Miru and he point his finger at Teju.

[ Eww...]

He is loving my sister. I look at him he is also looking at me with same shock. The shock turn into a glare. How dare he loves my sister? Wait I am in love with his sister the same question will be running in his head too. 

"Ama! Amma I and Dev are in love with eachother for last six years" Miru said.

[ Yes! Mother]

"What? For last six years?" Aathai asked. Their eyes wide like saucers.

"Please amma you should only tell dad and help us getting married" I begged my mother.

"Wait da I am still in shock you both just blast a auto bomb in our hearts" amma said. Aathai looked at Hari.

"Sir ethana varusam?" Aathai asked him. Teju panicked.

[Sir how many years?]

"No ma she was not in love with me I am the one who is in love with her for last 6 years. She don't even have any idea about this" he said. Teju relaxed. Amma looked at her.

"Are you in love with anyone Teju?" She asked. She shook her head faster...
