"Amma..." I called. She looked at aathai.
[ Mother]
"Ma..." Dev called aathi.
"Seri! Ivanga jathagam la othu poguthanun pakanunla" amma said.
[ Fine... But we have look whether their horoscopes matches right?]
"Anni! I did something without your knowing" aathai said. Mom's eyes wide and she looked at aathai curiously.
"Do you remember me asking Miru and Hari's horoscope for something?" Aathai asked. Mom nod.
"Actually I wanted to make Miru my daughter in law and Hari my son in law so that's why I asked it and out of 10 matches they both have 8 matches perfectly including the important ones" aathai said.
"I also did the same anni. Do you remember me asking Dev and Teju's" horoscope amma asked.
"Then why didn't you tell me about this anni?" Aathai asked.
"You didn't said anything about this so I thought you were not interested so I didn't asked anything about this" amma replied.
"Me too the same reason anni" aathai said.
"So do you guys accept our wedding?" Hari asked.
"Wait! Miru and Dev both are in love with eachother so we can accept them but what about Teju's decision?" Mom asked and looked at her. I too look at her with some hope. Please say yess! I screamed inside my head....

I look at the all commotion happened here silently.... At first when they said it's about the wedding of me and Miru I felt nothing but Dev and him argued. When they both said they are in love with someone I felt shock and a unknown pain in my heart. Shock because my brother shares everything with me but he hide his relationship and pain because he is in love with someone else. The feelings I have for him is love and when I came to know he have it for someone else it broke me but when he pointed his finger at me saying I am the one he love. I couldn't control the happiness in my heart. It did summersaults. Monkeys dance on my tummy. So it's not only me he also had feelings for me even a year ahead. I am so happy but I didn't show it out...
"So do you guys accept to our wedding??" Hari asked aathai.
"Wait! Miru and Dev both are in love with eachother so we can accept them but what about Teju's decision?" aathai asked and looked at me. Miru also looked at me with some hope. I am still looking at the ground. A blush creeps out from my cheek. I nod.
"Yesss....." Miru shouted and squeeze me like a five year old kid who got her favourite toy.
"En thangam..." Aathai said and cupped my face.
[ Thangam - endearment]
I turn and look at him. Those brown eyes are filled with tears of joy if noone were in this room. I would've go and hugged him. I look at Dev he smiled at me and I glare at him. "Hi-Fi!" Miru said and I glare at her too. They both hide their relationship from me.
"Sorry it's only your brother's decision to hide it from you I only told to hide it from Hari anna" Miru said and gave an apologetic look.
"I only forgive you both when you give me treat in my favourite restaurant" I said.
"Done they" both said.
Hari cleared his throat. "What about me then?" He asked.
"I will do anything you ask me macha!" Dev anna said.
"Anything?" Hari asked.
Dev anna nod.
"Then come and do 20 pushups here" Hari said.
"Like right now?" Dev asked. He nods. Dev anna also got up and did it. He go and sit near Hari.
"I don't remember telling you to sit" Hari said. "Dei...." Dev anna said in a sympathy tone standing up. Hari smiled. "Sit down sit down" he said and anna sit near him.
"So thaikulams is everything okay with you?" Miru asked.
[Thaikulam - motherhood]
"Everything is okay with us but what about your fathers?" Aathai asked and we heard a Royal Enfield sound.
"Athu enna en bike sound mari kekuthu?" Dev anna asked.
[ Why that sounds like my bike?]
"Unnathu mari illa anna unnuthu tha...." I said with a smile.
[ Not like yours brother yours only]
He looks at mom. "Yeah I only told your father to use your bike because you have your RX100 in Chennai and you only use this bike when you come here so that's why I told your dad and he is only using it for last one week" mom said.
"For last one week?" Dev anna asked as his eyes and mouth wide open. Miru smiled at his expression. Dev anna looked at her and sit on the couch leaning against it. I controlled my laugh looking at them.
"If Sakthi mama is here means appa would've came right mom?" Hari asked aathi. Aathai nod.
[Mama - Uncle]
"First he will go to our house when he notice that no one is there he will come here" aathai said.
Appa entered into the house. Hari and Dev anna got up. Our mothers too but we both were sitting calmly.
"Hari! Dev! Epudi pa irukinga?" Dad asked.
[ Hari! Dev! How are you?]
"Fine pa" Dev anna said.
"Good mama" Hari said. Followed by appa Krishna mama also came in. Appa came and sit on the couch opposite to us. Amma sat near appa. Mama came and sit near aathai and aathai sit near mama.
Dev anna came and sit near me and Hari sit near Miru. Me and Miru looked at eachother and looked at our parents.
"So how is working going?" Mama asked.
"Everything is going good appa" Hari said.
"You got comfortable there right?" Appa asked.
They both nod their heads. Amma opened her mouth to tell something but appa interrupted it.
"Kannama is dinner ready?" Appa asked.
"Huh! Two minutes.. I will bring it. Everyone please come and sit on the dinning table" amma said and left. Aathai also got up.
"I need to call someone I will be back" aathai said.
"Who do you want to call at this time Sita?" Mama asked.
"The wedding broker" aathai said.
"Ah! I remember. I also need to tell something important about that but let's speak after dinner" mama said. Aathai nod and went inside the kitchen to help mom.
"We will fresh up and come" appa said and got and left mama too. It's now only me, Dev, Miru and Hari.
"I don't know what dad is having on his mind" Miru said in a scared tone.
"Don't worry everything will be alright" Hari reassured her.
Teju, Miru come here we heard amma' s voice. We both got up and go to the kitchen.
"Arrange these plates and chutneys on the table" amma said.
We nod and I took the plates and Miru took the chutneys. We arrange them on the dinning table. The boys came and the dads came too. We also sit and I sat opposite to Hari and Miru sat opposite to Dev. Moms bring dosai and we ate our dinner. Then, Miru put dosai for amma and aathai and I do the dishes.
After completing all work we four came and sat on the couch on the same old position. Mama and aathi, amma and appa, Hari and Miru and me and Dev.
"So, what's the important thing?" Aathai asked.
"It's about Miru's wedding" mama said.
